Your Body, Your Exercise

OK, Having said that this is a really good time to exercise. Not because you should try and defeat the bizarre little wings hanging below your biceps… I mean great if you can, but I think you can also probably devise a plan for world peace in the same amount of time… and quite frankly peace is probably more worthwhile and will change your life a bit more deeply, but then again…

But anyway, exercise WILL make you trimmer, and that’s nothing to sneeze at. But it will be two other things. One, it will help you get rid of excess stress so that you can sleep.

It will also get you in shape to have a fabulous time at your party. You want to (be able to) dance all night. You also want to get up the next morning and actually be able to hang with your buds who will want to see you. You will have already dashed around making sure that all the pieces are in place, you have gotten your massage (you did schedule your massage didn’t you? And your sweetie’s), you’ve gotten your pedicure, which has made you look and feel wonderful and your nails are the perfect shade. But after all that, you had to go to your rehearsal night dinner (maybe even a rehearsal, if I were running your wedding!)… you’ll be a nervous wreck the night before, go to bed too late because you have last minute things to accomplish and girl friends to gossip with and wake up early and excited the next morning. So exercise and get strong.

You’re about to run a marathon, emotional and physical. Get ready, ‘cause here it comes!

Girlfriends, We’ve got it all going on! It’s doable. I believe in us. And we sure deserve it!
