Transcendent Awe. Transcendent Peace was today’s fourth kind of Awe. And this was my experience Monday night. If I’d have had more lines I would have mentioned that across the hospital a child had opened their eyes two weeks after an accident. And later eyes closed whispered Hi and Bye and offered a thumbs up to a woman who was only part of the cacophony of an injury that seemed unsurvivable. They ate applesauce. Thumbs up!!!!  …Transcendent Awe. Transcendent Peace.
