Awe is the predominant emotion as the beauty unfolds around us. Gratitude, the second, that I’m able to be off on this trip experiencing this vast Beauty. My other cross-country trips were southern routes and much “busier.” This is exploring the vast emptiness of the West. It’s Amazing — always inviting you to look more deeply. Both exhilarating and exhausting. There will probably be a nap in between poems for me today.
